Major League Baseball y Chevrolet, el veh\u00edculo oficial de las Grandes Ligas, anunciaron los 30 candidatos al prestigioso Premio Roberto Clemente presentado por Chevrolet.<\/p>\n

Hoy es el und\u00e9cimo D\u00eda de Roberto Clemente, que fue establecido por Major League Baseball para honrar el legado de Clemente y para reconocer oficialmente a los nominados de cada equipo al Premio Roberto Clemente presentado por Chevrolet.<\/p>\n

El premio anual, que lleva el nombre del fallecido Sal\u00f3n de la Fama puertorrique\u00f1o, reconoce al ligamayorista que mejor representa el b\u00e9isbol dentro y fuera del terreno, incluyendo conducta deportiva y aportes a la comunidad.<\/p>\n

El Premio Roberto Clemente le rinde tributo a los logros y el car\u00e1cter de Clemente al reconocer a los jugadores de la actualidad que de verdad comprenden el valor de ayudar al pr\u00f3jimo. El premio lleva el nombre del 15 veces convocado al Juego de Estrellas y miembro del Sal\u00f3n de la Fama que muri\u00f3 el 31 de diciembre de 1972 cuando cay\u00f3 el avi\u00f3n en que viajaba para llevar provisiones a las v\u00edctimas de un terremoto en Nicaragua.<\/p>\n
