Es la primera vez que lo hace en 42 a\u00f1os. La erupci\u00f3n ha levantado una enorme columna de ceniza que ha obligado a evacuar poblaciones cercanas.<!--more--><\/p>\n<aside class=\"referenced-wide referenced-fullwidth js_inset tmpl_referencedGroupFullWidth clearfix core-decorated-inset\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"referenced-item  \" data-inset-id=\"1696836183\">\n<div class=\"columns small-4 medium-3 referenced-item-image referenced-item-processed\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"text  small-offset-3 \">El volc\u00e1n entr\u00f3 en erupci\u00f3n en la tarde de ayer a las 18:00 hora local y ha continuado durante toda la madrugada. El Calbuco es un estratovolc\u00e1n, un tipo de volc\u00e1n de gran altura y forma de cono compuesto de m\u00faltiples capas de lava endurecida. Cuando una de estas moles entra en erupci\u00f3n expulsa cenizas y rocas a velocidades de hasta 300 km\/h. La columna de ceniza del Calbuco ha sido tan elevada y densa que ha obligado a una aerol\u00ednea local a cancelar todos sus vuelos, a evacuar las poblaciones cercanas y declarar el estado de excepci\u00f3n por parte de la presidenta chilena presidenta Michelle Bachelet.
